Welcome to our Scattering Seeds Family. Established in April of 1988, Scattering Seeds Fellowship is a church focused on spreading the seed of faith which is the word of God. We partner with some of the most active ministries in the greater L.A. area to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to provide for the needs of all God’s people.

Senior Pastor David Magallanes
Pastor David found the Lord at age 51 and has held true to spreading the word of God. Luke 8 was an inspiration for the naming of the church “Scattering Seeds” in which conveys how a sower must go out to spread the seed of faith to all people, which is the word of God. His favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 because he expresses how, many times in life you may be presented with no hope, but if you put your faith and trust in God and His word, you will be filled with hope and a promise of a future.
Renee Magallanes
Mrs. Renee is the Co-Founder of Scattering Seeds with her huband Pastor David Magallanes. At age 38 she re-dedicated her life to Christ and has been serving the Lord ever since. God has given her the joy to know God’s children in many ways and believes in the power of prayer.
Her favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 because she truly believes that God has a plan and a future for all of Gods children. She has faith that whatever trial we might face, God is faithful and his word never turns back void.
Associates Pastor David Torres
Pastor David has served as Associate Pastor along side senior Pastor David Magallanes for 5 years. He has had the honor to mentor and raise up prayer warriors in the church. He has served the Lord since he was 10 years old and has dedicated his life to God’s ministry. The Lord has given him a heart to serve people and has allowed him to minister and present the gospel in the U.S, Mexico, Europe, and many other countries around the world. He is also the Founder and CEO of International Prayers & Praise Ministry, a non profit organization used to spread the gospel and help those in need.
His favorite bible verse is Psalm 23 and The Lord’s Prayer. He says he recites these two prayers daily over his life which has helped him along the way.
